London-based Bikeworks awarded title of England's 'Best New Social Enterprise'

Social Firm, Bikeworks (www.bikeworks.org.uk), have won ‘Best New Social Enterprise’ for England in the 2009 Social Enterprise Awards and were presented with their award by Tessa Jowell, Minister For The Cabinet Office, yesterday (Nov 19), Social Enterprise Day, at a special reception at Downing Street.

Social Firm, Catering2Order, celebrates new appointments and contracts

images.jpgBermondsey-based outside catering company, Catering2Order has much to celebrate. The Social Firm's CEO, John Charles, has been appointed as Chair for BusinessLink London's Deaf & Disabled Entrepreneurs Advisory Group (DDEAG) as well as as an advisor to BERR in March 2009. In September 2008 Catering2Order were appointed as caterers for Skanska Civil Engineering on the Olympic Village.
